These new lightweight metal MT-G models, Based on the MTG-B2000, which is a fusion of a monocoque case made of carbon fiber-reinforced resin and metal material, this model use carbon material for the bezel parts to reduce weight. The top bezel is carbonized, and the laminated glass fiber layer is finished in a fresh design using a green color. 

The overall texture is enhanced by highly transparent sapphire glass and a dial with delicate engraving using the microfabrication technology of the Casio Yamagata Factory. In terms of reducing weight, Casio adopted a "layer composite band". Together with the core shock-resistant structures are the latest additions to the lineup in 2021.

Function-wise, these models maintain a constant Bluetooth® connection with a smartphone running the G-SHOCK Connected app to obtain accurate time information from an online time server for automatic time adjustment, even if you move between time zones. MULTIBAND 6 automatically adjusts time settings based on the reception of one of six calibration signals around the globe when you are within the range of a signal, even if the connection with a smartphone is not possible, for accurate timekeeping no matter where your travels take you.
